Brief info

Matilda Esi Fiadzigbey is a Valuation Surveyor and Lawyer. As a highly experienced Land Management Expert, she has been actively involved in the administration of government, stool and private lands. Her experience also includes real estate valuation and alternative dispute resolution.

Matilda holds BSc (Land Economy) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Postgraduate Diploma in Integrated Survey from the International Institute of Aerospace Surveys and Earth Sciences, (ITC) Netherlands and Executive Master in Public Administration from Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA). She successfully completed a course of study in Law at the Ghana School of Law and was called to the Bar in 2007 and obtained an Executive Master of Appropriate Dispute Resolution from Gamey & Gamey Academy of Mediation. She was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Law Degree (Honoris Causa) by her Alma Mater, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2002 for her distinguished service to the University and the nation.
She is a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS), Member of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) and the Commonwealth Association of Surveying and Land Economy (CASLE). She is also a member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and the Ghana Association of Mediators and Arbitrators (GHACMA).
She has worked in Public Land Institutions, namely, the then Lands Department, Land Valuation Board and the Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands till her retirement. She has attended several local and international courses to enhance her skill.
